· First parking slot (alley) has been reserved for Jumua prayer; please do not park your car in the first slot on Fridays.

 

· We are not allowed to park in the private parking of our neighbors except for Joshua house. Last Friday some people parked their cars illegally and the owner of the land was about to have them towed.

 

· Dr Aamer who has been serving the community as General Coordinator of ISGL has moved to Fishers. The elections for the vacant position of General Coordinator will be held on July 9th after Jumua prayer. Please send your nominations to Dr. Mourad Ouzzani and contact him for details.

 

· The ISGL Youth Group Summer Program will conduct its kick-off event on Tuesday, July 6 starting at 8:00 PM in the masjid. This is a mandatory information session for all participants and their parents/guardians. Details about the Summer program will be provided at the meeting. Please direct questions to either Br. Salah Issa or Br. Haroon Mohammad.

 

· The Imam Search Committee has posted the job description for the imam position for the masjid in the EC bulletin board. Any community member who would like to recommend a possible candidate is requested to contact the Imam Search Committee via the email listed in the job description.

 

· Halaqahs going on this week in the masjid:

· 10-15 minute short talk every night after Maghrib prayer

· Sisters weekly halaqah tonight (Friday) after Maghrib prayer

· The weekly Qur’an recitation halaqa conducted by Br. Isam Badawi will be held on Sunday after Maghrib prayer

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Ali ibn Abi Talib Group (led by Br. Lutfe Siddiqui) on Sunday after Dhuhr prayer. Any brother interested in earning ajr (reward) for helping to clean the masjid is requested to talk to Br. Haroon Mohammad or Br. Aurangzeb.
