 Athan Times

· The ISGL is collecting money to help the survivors of the recent earthquake in Haiti.  Money collected will be sent to Haiti using The Zakat Foundation of America which has workers on the ground in Haiti already providing assistance to the affected and is feeding 700 orphans daily at the St. Clare Camp. Please place donations in the appropriately marked box in the small prayer hall.

 

· The Purdue Muslim Students Association (MSA) will have its first General Body meeting of the semester on Tuesday January 26 in WTHR 172 from 8-9 p.m.

 

· Inna lil-Lahi wa inna ilayhi raji’oon. We would like to express our condolences to Brother Taj Mohammad’s family on the death of his brother-in-law earlier this week in India. May Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala, forgive Brother Taj’s brother-in-law for his sins and enter him into Jannah by His Mercy. Ameen.

 

· Halaqahs going on this week in the masjid:

· 10-15 minute short talk every night after Isha prayer.

· Sisters weekly halaqah tonight (Friday) after Isha prayer

· The weekly Qur’an recitation halaqa conducted by Brother Isam Badawi will be held on Sunday after Maghrib prayer

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Az-Zubair bin al-Awwam Group (led by Dr. Aamer Mahmood) on Sunday after Thuhr prayer. Any brother interested in earning ajr (reward) for helping to clean the masjid is requested to talk to Br. Haroon Mohammad.
