ISLAMIC SOCIETY OF GREATER LAFAYETTE MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM/ KITCHEN GUIDELINES
The Multi-Purpose Room and kitchens are available for use by our community for a variety of occasions. The ISGL Executive Committee (EC) would like to encourage the use of these facilities to their fullest potential. In order to achieve a safe and equitable environment, the following guidelines apply.
· A request form must be properly filled out and submitted to the EC at least one week prior to your event. This assures having a responsible person that will be in charge of overseeing proper usage, cleaning, and that the facilities are returned to their original state and set up. The EC or its representative will oversee organization of requested dates and times and respond to the requesting brother/sister in a timely manner. First-come first-serve rules apply. However, Islamic School sessions and events take precedence.
· Children MUST be supervised at ALL times. AT NO TIME SHALL CHILDREN BE LEFT UNATTENDED IN THE MULTI-PURPOSE ROOM.
· All your foods, drinks, cups, plates, and other supplies must be removed upon departure or an EC representative MUST be informed if there are items left as a donation to the Islamic School/Masjid.
· All tables and chairs must be returned to their proper storage or original positions. Toys need to be straightened up.
· All plates, dishes, utensils, pots and pans MUST be cleaned and put away in their proper places.
· Microwaves, stoves, refrigerators, and counter tops MUST be wiped down and dried.
· Linoleum floors MUST be swept and mopped and carpet MUST be vacuumed prior to departure.
· Garbage MUST be taken out and new garbage bags placed in their proper receptacle prior to departure.
· Any reservation that does not follow these clean-up rules will be assessed a $100.00 clean-up fee payable within 48 hours.
· All events are OPEN to the community as a whole. However, if you wish to have a by-invitation-only/private activity (Islamically appropriate) then you MUST pay a $50.00 donation to the Masjid.
· All non-private reservations can/will be announced to the community both during Jummah announcements, as well as advertised on the ISGL website, ISGLonline.org.
