Islamic Society Of Greater Lafayette

· The first two events for Palestine Awareness Campaign will be held next week. On Tuesday, February 17, there will be a documentary screening of “Peace, Propaganda, and the Promised Land” and on Wednesday, February 18, speaker Alison Weir will discuss how the U.S. media has failed to accurately report the events in Palestine. Both events will be held in the Purdue University Pharmacy Building (RHPH), Room 172 starting at 8 PM. Please pick up a flyer with the complete program details on your way out. The campaign is being sponsored by multiple organizations including the MSA and ISGL.

 

· Vacancies for students are available on the second floor in the masjid.  For more information please contact Brs. Bokar (resident’s consoler), Isam Badawi or Haroon Mohammad.

 

· The Muslim Students Association will continue its semester long history halaqah TONIGHT after Isha prayer in the masjid. Please contact Brother Hany Gabal for more information.

 

· The weekly Qur’an memorization halaqah conducted by Brother Isam Badawi will be held Sunday at the masjid after Maghrib prayer.

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Abu Bakr As-Sadeeq group (led by Brother Sohail Sadiq) on Sunday after Asr prayer. Any brother interested in earning ajr (reward) for helping to clean the masjid is requested to sign up on the sign-up sheet on the MSA Bulletin Board.
