· Eid-ul-Adha prayer will be held on Monday, December 8 at the Purdue Armory (located at the corner of University and Third Streets across from the Lawson Computer Science Building) starting at 9 AM SHARP. The masjid has a limited number of one-day free garage parking on the University campus for the Eid prayer. Anyone who would like a one-day temporary “A” parking pass must sign-up for a pass TODAY by Asr prayer (3:30 PM). The cost for the permits is $3.50/car. Permits will be given on the day of Eid (arrive BEFORE 8:45 AM on Monday morning). After the Eid prayer, you need to return the temp parking permit to the parking attendant who will give you your ID back. There is also paid parking available at the parking garage at the corner of State and Grant Streets as well.  Families are requested to bring one breakfast dish to share in the community Eid breakfast.

 

· Cleaning groups Semester Review Meeting will be held TONIGHT after Maghrib prayer in the multipurpose room downstairs. Please direct all questions to Brother Haroon Mohammad.

 

· Any individual who is planning to perform the sacrifice (udhiyah) and would like to have their knife sharpened is requested to bring the item to the masjid at Isha prayer tonight. Items will be sharpened and be available for pick-up on Sunday after Thuhr prayer in the masjid. The service is free.

 

· The Muslim Students Association will continue its weekly Islamic history halaqah series entitled “The Rise and Fall” TONIGHT after ISHA prayer in the masjid. For more details, please contact Brother Hany Gabal.

 

· The weekly Qur’an memorization halaqah conducted by Brother Isam Badawi will be held Saturday at the masjid after Maghrib prayer.

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Abu Bakr As-Sadeeq group (led by Brother Sohail Sadiq) on Sunday after Thuhr prayer. Any brother interested in earning ajr (reward) for helping to clean the masjid is requested to sign up on the sign-up sheet on the MSA Bulletin Board.
