 Athan Times

· There are room vacancies for the remainder of the Fall 2008 semester available in the Masjid's Student Residence upstairs. Anyone interested should contact the resident counselor, Br Isam Badawi, for more information.

 

· Students as you sign up for your Spring semester of classes, please take note of the following: you can incorporate a 1 hour time block in your schedule for jumm’ah prayer by signing up for ACTIVITY 900 (ACTY 900). Purdue University policy forbids instructors from punishing students for attending valid, required religious services/functions during class time. If you have questions related to time conflicts between class and jumm’ah prayer, please consult one of the MSA Board members.

 

· The Muslim Students Association will continue its weekly Islamic history halaqah series entitled “The Rise and Fall” NEXT FRIDAY after ISHA prayer in the masjid. For more details, please contact Brother Hany Gabal.

 

· The weekly Qur’an memorization halaqah conducted by Brother Isam Badawi will be held Saturday at the masjid after Maghrib prayer.

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam group (led by Brother Ibrahim Aly) on Sunday after Thuhr prayer. Any brother interested in earning ajr (reward) for helping to clean the masjid is requested to sign up on the sign-up sheet on the MSA Bulletin Board.
