· The first day of Eid-al-Adha will be tomorrow, Saturday, December 30 in shaa Allah. Eid prayer will be held in the Burtsfield School Gymnasium (the same location as Eid-al-Fitr) at 8:30 AM SHARP.

 

· Any individual planning to bring a food item or drink to the Eid prayer tomorrow is requested to bring the food item to the school no later than 8:15 AM.

 

· Information regarding where one can perform the Udhiyah (sacrifice) is available on the bulletin board outside in the small prayer hall.

 

· Registration for the part-time Islamic School will be held on Saturday January 13th, 2007 from 10 AM -2 PM. The first day of class will be on Sunday January 14th, 2007 at 10 AM SHARP.

 

· We have a vacancy for students available in one of the rooms upstairs for the Spring semester.  Whoever is interested please contact Brs. Issa Mahmodi, Ibrahim Ahmed or Haroon.

 

· There are two positions vacated on the ISGL Executive Committee: Coordinator and Secretary

· Dr Mourad Ouzzani is head of the election committee.

· Nominations will be accepted only from paid ISGL members until Friday, Jan 12.  Please use the provided forms and maintenance request box to submit your nominations.

· Elections for the two positions will be held on Saturday, January 20 after Maghrib in the Masjid.

 

· Islamic Halaqa’s this week are as follows:

· Brothers Quran Memorization and studies Halaqa will be on Saturday after Salat-ul-Isha.

· Sister’s Halaqa every Friday night at the Masjid, insha’Allah.

 

· Cleaning will be done by the Malaysian Group and any volunteers who want to join them on Sunday after Thuhr prayer.
