 Athan Times

· As a reminder, due to daylight savings time, the clock will move one hour back this Sunday at 2 AM in the morning. Thus, the prayer times will shift back one hour starting on Sunday morning. Please remember that this will not affect the prayer time for jumm’ah on Fridays as jumm’ah prayer will remain at 1:45 PM as usual.

 

· There will be a meeting to plan to discuss preparations for Eid-al-Adha this Sunday (November 4) at 2:30 PM in the masjid. Any individual who would like to volunteer to help with the preparations is welcome to attend.

 

· We need several volunteers to help with shampooing and cleaning the masjid carpets after Fajr prayer tomorrow morning. We will also try to thoroughly clean some vents and lights in the masjid.

 

· Volunteers are also needed to help sand and re-paint the gazebo outside the masjid. In shaa Allah we will meet tomorrow morning to start on this project.

 

· Last Sunday, members of the community erected the da’wah kiosk which is facing First Street outside the Masjid. Currently, members of the da’wah committee are in discussion regarding the content and design of material to go inside the kiosk. If any member of the community has an idea for content to put inside the kiosk, please contact Dr. Mourad Ouzzani or Brother Sohail Sadiq.

 

· The MSA has placed a survey regarding our upcoming activities on the MSA table in the small prayer hall. We would like to encourage all MSA members to provide us with feedback about these activities by filling out the survey and placing in the appropriate box on the table.

 

· The site plan and flyer for the new Islamic School for the community is available on the table with the white cloth in the small prayer hall. We encourage all community members to pick up a copy on your way out of the Masjid.

 

· The weekly masjid cleaning group for this week is the Egyptian Group and any volunteers who want to join them on Sunday after Thuhr prayer.

 

· Please do not forget to donate generously as you are leaving. Donations can be placed either in the small brown box on the table in the small prayer hall or in the big brown donation box in the back of the small prayer hall. Donations can also be made online at the ISGL website: www.isglonline.org
