 Athan Times

· There will be a special youth program for all male Muslim youth (ages 13-24) next Friday, August 8, 2008 starting at 7:00 PM. The program will feature a guest speaker, food, and special brother’s activities. Any male youth (from ages 14-24) interested in attending are requested to contact either Brother Azam Ghafoor or Brother Haroon Mohammad to reserve their spot in this program. Please contact either Brothers Azam or Haroon for more information.

 

· There will be a General Assembly meeting on Saturday, August 16, 2008 between Maghrib and Isha prayer at the masjid. The main topics to be covered include investment of the new building funds and hiring a full-time imam for the community. All community members are encouraged to attend.

 

· The masjid is seeking donations for the Ramadan weekday singles iftar program. Please place donations in the black box labeled “Ramadan Iftar Donations” in the small prayer hall.

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Az-Zubair bin Al-Awwam group (led by Brother Ibrahim Aly) on Sunday after Thuhr prayer. The new cleaning groups have been posted on the EC bulletin board along with the upcoming schedule for each cleaning group.

 

· Please do not forget to donate generously as you are leaving to help cover expenses for major maintenance projects in the Masjid. Please contact Brother Saieb Alrawi for more information.
