Thursday May 1, 2008 

1. This is the first meeting after the elections on Saturday April 12^th, 2008.  Following position are filled:

i. Isam Badawi (IEB)

ii. Abdul Kader Sankari (Accountant)

iii. Hany Gabal  (Fund Raiser/NAIT Rep)

iv. Yehia Fouad (MSA President)

v. Sohail Sadiq  (Secretary)

2. This meeting was a joint session of leaving and incoming members.

3. Meeting starting with the members giving progress report and their plans for the future.

Some of the highlights are as follows:

· To get an Imam for the Masjid is still the #1 priority for EC

· Need to find a temporary place outside the Masjid for the weekend school for fall.

· More focus on the Quran and Sunnah in the weekend school.

· Proactive programs will be implemented to generate more interaction between MSA and the community.

· Transportation plan is being worked out to commute children to Fisher’s full time Islamic school – Dr. Sankari.
