· The entire community is invited to attend a community picnic on Saturday, May 22 at Happy Hollow Park, Shelter #1 starting at 6 PM. There will be plenty of food and fun activities in shaa Allah! Community members who would like to bring a dish (rice, salad, or dessert) to share are requested to sign-up on the sheet in the small prayer hall (for men)/sister's prayer area (for women). Please direct questions either to Br. Salah Issa or Br. Haroon Mohammad.

 

· Reminder: We are not allowed to park in the 3 parking slots facing First Street adjacent to the alley of the masjid (belong to 106 Waldron Street brown house). The space belongs to PRF and multiple cars have already been towed.

 

· Reminder: Please contact one of the EC Board members immediately should an incident arise where either the physical structure of the masjid is damaged or one of its attendees is harmed while on ISGL property. Community members are requested not to engage the individuals responsible for said damage on their own.

 

· We would like to remind our brothers and sisters in the community that any message you would like to have announced (on the Friday announcements) must be approved by the EC Board. Announcements should be submitted to the EC Secretary, Br. Aurangzeb.

 

· The masjid library is reserved for the sisters to use every Saturday from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. We would like to request brothers to avoid using the masjid library during that time interval.

 

· Halaqahs going on this week in the masjid:

· 10-15 minute short talk every night after Maghrib prayer

· Sisters weekly halaqah tonight (Friday) after Maghrib prayer

· The weekly Qur’an recitation halaqa conducted by Br. Isam Badawi will be held on Sunday after Maghrib prayer

 

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Abu Bakr As-Siddique Group (led by Br. Sohail Sadiq) on Sunday after Thuhr prayer. Any brother interested in earning ajr (reward) for helping to clean the masjid is requested to talk to Br. Haroon Mohammad.

 

· Please do not forget to donate generously.
