· There will be an Open House at Eman Elementary School in Fishers, IN on Saturday April 26. Please contact Dr Sankari if you are interested in this full-time Islamic school which will be up to eighth (8th) grade next year in shaa Allah.  We are assessing the interest and number of students to determine if a bus will be needed to transport the students next year. Flyers are on the table in the men's small prayer hall and posted in the sisters' bulletin board.

 

· Alhamdulillah the elections for the new EC Board positions were held last week. The newly elected EC Board members are:

· Secretary: Br. Sohail Sadiq

· Treasurer: Dr. Abdul Kader Sankari

· NAIT/Fundraising Representative: Br. Hany Gabal

· Islamic Education Board (IEB) Coordinator: Br. Isam Badawi (Abu Muhannad)

 

· Halaqahs going on this week are as follows:

· Halaqah on Tafsir ibn Kathir tonight after Maghrib prayer in shaa Allah

· Weekly Qur’an halaqah conducted by Abu Muhannad (Brother Isam) on Wednesdays and Saturdays between Maghrib and Isha prayer.

 

· The weekly masjid cleaning group is the Malaysian Group.

 

· Please do not forget to donate generously as you are leaving especially to cover expenses for major maintenance projects in the Masjid. The masjid is in need of donations to cover expenses for three major maintenance projects:

· One was completed to replace the water leak associated with the sprinkler system.

· The second project is to fix the water leakage in the men’s wudu area/bathroom.

· The third project is to clean the masjid gutters which are clogged with debris
