· Starting next Monday, March 3, the men’s wudu area will undergo repair and will be unavailable for use. Please try to make sure to come to prayers with wudu as the bathroom facility downstairs will not be available. The bathroom may be shut down for the entire week as repairs continue.

 

· Congratulations to Dr. Mourad Ouzzani and his family for being blessed with a baby girl named Asmaa. May Allah, subhanahu wa ta’ala help the parents to raise her to become a pious Muslim and make her a coolness for her parent’s eyes. Ameen.

 

· The elections for the following EC Board positions (Secretary, Islamic Education Board Coordinator, and Treasurer) will be held on Saturday, April 12.  Nominations for these positions can be made until Wednesday, April 9. Only registered ISGL members are permitted to nominate and be nominated for these positions. Any questions regarding the EC elections can be directed to Dr. Mourad Ouzzani, head of the elections committee.

 

· REMINDER: Brothers should never enter the women’s prayer area at any time.

 

· REMINDER: Please respect the parking rules of the masjid and also please avoid parking on our neighbor’s property.

 

· The Muslim Students Association will in shaa Allah continue its halaqah series “Torchbearers of Islam.” Next week’s halaqah will focus on the life of AbdurRahman bin Awf, radi Allahu anhu, and will be held on Monday, March 3, in Beering, Room B242 starting at 8:30 PM in shaa Allah. · The masjid is in need of donations to cover expenses for three major maintenance projects:

· One was completed to replace the water leak associated with the sprinkler system.

· The second project is to fix the water leakage in the men’s wudu area/bathroom, which will begin next week.

· The third project is to clean the masjid gutters which are clogged with debris.

· The weekly masjid cleaning group for this week is the Youth Group and any volunteers who want to join them on Sunday after Thuhr prayer.

 

· The site plan and flyer for the new Community Center and Islamic School for the community is available on the table in the small prayer hall. We encourage all community members to pick up a copy on your way out of the Masjid.

 

· Please do not forget to donate generously as you are leaving. Donations can be placed either in the small brown box on the table in the small prayer hall or in the big brown donation box in the back of the small prayer hall. Donations can also be made online at the ISGL website: www.isglonline.org
