 Athan Times

· Eid-al-Adha prayer will be on Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at 8:30 AM at Burtsfield Elementary School. The school is the same location where the previous Eid prayer was held. We encourage all community members to come early to the school.

 

· A list of farms which have sheep where one can perform the udhiya/qurbani is available on the bulletin boards in the small prayer hall and at the entrance of the masjid. Please contact these farms soon as they have a limited number of sheep available.

 

· The 9^th of Dhul-Hijjah will be on Tuesday. As a reminder, the Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, encouraged fasting on the 9^th of Dhul-Hijjah as it will expiate the sins for the previous year and the current year.

 

· The site plan and flyer for the new Islamic School & Community Center for the community is available on the table with the green cloth in the small prayer hall. We encourage all community members to pick up a copy on your way out of the Masjid.

 

· The weekly masjid cleaning group for this week is the Jordanian Group and any volunteers who want to join them on Sunday after Thuhr prayer.

 

· Please do not forget to donate generously as you are leaving. Donations can be placed either in the small brown box on the table in the small prayer hall or in the big brown donation box in the back of the small prayer hall. Donations can also be made online at the ISGL website: www.isglonline.org
