· REMNDER: It is the sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad, salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam, to fast the 10th day of Muharram (Day of Ashura) + either the 9th or 11th of Muharram. The 10th of Muharram will in shaa Allah be next Thursday (December 16).

· Please keep Dr. Mourad’s family in your du’aas; his oldest daughter underwent surgery earlier this week. We ask Allah, azza wa jal, to grant Dr. Mourad’s daughter a speedy and full recovery back to good health. Ameen.

· The ISGL Brothers Youth Group (male youth ages 10-18) is conducting its END-OF-SEMESTER PARTY tonight Friday (December 10) after Isha prayer. Youth should meet in the ISGL for Isha prayer.

· The MSA has the following announcements:

· The MSA is starting a Muslim Student Textbook Loan Program. The program aims to limit the cost of purchasing/renting textbooks for certain classes students may take. Any student who would like to donate his/her textbook(s) from the current semester of classes, is encouraged to talk to one of the MSA Board members to find out more information on this program.

· The MSA is requesting students who are planning to visit their native country during Winter Break to bring back a cultural item(s) symbolic of the country or citizens of the country. The MSA plans to use these items for their future display case (in Stewart Center) and for Da’wah Committee activities.

· REMINDER: ISGL parking lots can only be used when a person is in the masjid. Failure to abide by the parking policy may result in your car being towed. Please do not park your vehicle in our neighbor’s parking lot; recently a brother’s car was towed from one of our neighbor’s parking lots and he paid over $150 to retrieve his vehicle.

· Halaqahs going on this week

· Short hadith reminder after Maghrib prayer every night.

· Qu’ranic Arabic halaqah taught by Br. Ibrahim Aly on Saturday after Dhuhr prayer (1:00 PM) in Lily Hall, Room G-401.

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Abu Bakr As-Sadeeq group (led by Br. Sohail Sadiq) on Sunday after Dhuhr prayer.

· Please do not forget to donate generously.
