· The ISGL and Weekend Islamic School are sponsoring a Kids Eid Party to be held on Sunday (November 21), from 3:00-6:00 PM at Great Skates (135 South Earl Avenue, Lafayette, IN 47904). Parents must accompany their children. For more details, please contact either Sr. Sereen or Dr. Walid Sharabati.

· The ISGL Election Committee (Dr. Mourad Ouzzani, Dr. Walid Sharabati, and Br. Ibrahim Aly) is accepting nominations from the General Assembly for the vacant Secretary position on the EC Board. The election will be held next week.

· Muslims refugees have been brought to the Indianapolis area from Somalia, Palestine, Iraq, and Syria through multiple organizations this past year. Many of them are in need of personal hygiene, clothing, and nutritional products. The MSA and the ISGL need your contribution in helping our local Muslims in need. You may help by donating MONEY in the designated donation box in the Men’s small prayer hall or sister's hall or donate gently-used/new specific ITEMS to the designated and labeled bins here in the masjid. May Allah (SWT) bless your charitable donations for our local Muslims in need and those organizing this opportunity for charity. For more information, contact Adil Ghafoor.

· Dr. Main al-Qudah, professor for the American Open University and imam form Houston, TX will be visiting our community on Friday, December 3 – Saturday, December 4. There will be an educational program with Dr. Main which all community members are invited to attend. Please contact Dr. Mourad Ouzzani for details.

· The ISGL Youth Group (male youth ages 10-18) will be conducting an EID PARTY tonight (November 19) after Isha prayer. Youth should meet at the ISGL by 7:00 PM. A revised list of activities for the group has been posted for the remainder of the Fall 2010 semester.

· Those who want to be on the ISGL e-mailing list and receive important e-mails from the ISGL are requested to sign up on the sign-up sheet available in the men’s small prayer hall as well as women’s prayer hall.

· REMINDER: ISGL parking lots can only be used when a person is in the masjid. Failure to abide by the parking policy may result in your car being towed. Please do not park your vehicle in our neighbor’s parking lot; last week a brother’s car was towed and he paid over $150 to retrieve his vehicle.

· Halaqahs going on this week

· Short hadith reminder after Maghrib prayer every night.

· Qu’ranic Arabic halaqah taught by Br. Ibrahim Aly on Saturday after Dhuhr prayer (1:00 PM) in Lily Hall, Room G-401.

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Ka’b bin Malik group (led by Br. Imran Yaacob) on Sunday after Dhuhr prayer.

· Please do not forget to donate generously.
