· The MSA is conducting a bake sale today outside the ISGL. Proceeds and donation will be used to cover MSA general activities.

· Imam Siraj Wahhaj, a highly respected and knowledgeable speaker, will be delivering a lecture entitled “Islam 101: A crash-course lecture on one of the world’s most misunderstood religions” on Thursday, October 21 starting at 7 PM in Fowler Hall (located in Stewart Center on campus of Purdue University). The event is open to the public. Please invite your non-Muslim colleagues and friends to this wonderful da’wah event!

· There will be an ISGL General Assembly (GA) meeting on Sunday, October 24 between Maghrib and Isha in the masjid. Please join us to learn and provide input about plans for the new building project. All community members are welcome to attend.

· There is a vacant position on the ISGL EC Board for the Secretary position. We will be accepting nominations and conducting en election to fill the position in a few weeks in shaa Allah.

· Those who want to be on the ISGL e-mailing list and receive important e-mails from ISGL are requested to sign up on the sign-up sheet available in the men’s small prayer hall as well as women’s prayer hall.

· This is to remind everyone that the ISGL parking lots can only be used when a person is in the masjid. Failure to abide by the parking policy may result in your car being towed.

· There is a vacancy for one Muslim brother in the rooms upstairs, for next academic year. Anyone interested to live in Masjid should contact brother Abish.

· Halaqahs going on this week:

· We have resumed the short hadith halaqa after Maghrib prayer.

· Qu’ranic Arabic halaqah taught by Br. Ibrahim Aly on Saturday after Dhuhr prayer (2:00 PM) in Lily Hall, Room G-401.

· The cleaning group for this week will be the Ka’b bin Malik group (led by Br. Imran Yaacob) on Sunday after Dhuhr prayer.

· Please do not forget to donate generously.
